SickKids, Toronto has expanded their innovative mental health support program, specifically designed with MPS families in mind. They understand the unique challenges and strengths of families impacted by MPS, and are committed to providing compassionate, tailored support that recognizes the complex dynamics of their family’s journey.
The I-InTERACT-North program offers virtual mental health support, designed tostrengthen family connections, provide coping strategies, and offer a supportive network.
The program is being developed through a collaborative approach, incorporating feedback from MPS families to ensure that their support truly meets their needs. They are bringing together SickKids clinicians, MPS experts, and – most importantly – caregivers to shape a program that reflects the real-world experiences of MPS families.
Eligibility:
• Ontario residents
• Families with children diagnosed with MPS ages 3-9
• Parents interested in strengthening their strategies around parent-child relationships
